An Eye for Detail, I got that

It was ...some time ago, when it was cold outside and me and Thanh were doing our photo taking tour. We went to WINE Museum!
After, I noticed that there was a photography contest going on and I decided to participate. Never heard back from them.
And now, I randomly discovered that I had not WON this, but recieved an "Honorable mention" for my fabuloys "Screw" :)
Well done, me, well done! :)

Organization for International Cooperation

So, as they say....when a door closes a window opens. That's what happened to me within last 24 hours. I did not get into my dream uni, but I did get an amazing organization to do my internship at, Organization for International Cooperation, located in Philadelphia, America! After I finished the Skype interview with NY last night...imagine me - jumping up and down! So, I will be this organizations' new special assistant in Paris and yes, it will be me contributing to deliver the world peace to y'all, my friends! Snap!
I do not only WISH for the World Peace, I will now actually do something about it! I'm so happy and proud and scared the same time. It is a challenge and I can't wait to work with the new international team I just gained.

Bisous!

Sciences Po

I am very sad, but can't say suprised. My bright future is now postponed for a year. I will submit a new improved application next year, until then I will do my best at everything else in process.

The VERDICT:

Bonjour ,

Cordialement,

C.D.

Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee!

Since I work for an English pub chain in Paris, and it was a big deal for the English population yesterday, 02/06/2012, it was the Diamond Jubilee, 60 years of reign!

What we did at the pub was wearing a paper-tiaras in a flag-decorated and soooooo britished up environment. + we had a life-size copy of the queen. Took soo many pictures, but unfortunately most of them are not appropriate to the public to be seen. Almost all you can think of, we did it. (and don't get too dirty, it's the queen we're talking about, right).

So, there she is! "One pint of Ginger Twist, pour moi, svp! Merci!!"

Before turning 50!

Yes, remember the post about turning 30! Well, it all started out when my eye was caught by Eva's FB comment on things you should get done before turning 30. It got me thinking that I am really old already and there is quite a lot of things that I have done by now and also... more to get done!

After giving it a lot more thought, I think I am still young, seriously! :) I never want to be 19 again, but hell, I'm not old either! :) So, I don't think that I need to add "loose the mini from your wardrobe" or "every party is not your last one" to my list, I'm smart enough to recognize the limit there naturally. Yet, my list will be something-something called before turning 50! Why? Because, by that time, you should be done with most of the milestones in life aaaaaand, there starts the 15 years prep for the retirement. And as you know, retirement is going to be the best days of my life! Travelling, sipping cocktails at the terrace and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Wait for the almost* complete list!

*list will not be complete before 24.12.2035, before that date, it will be updated if needed.

Muchos Besos (did't see that coming, did you! Totally new approach to bisous/kiss/musi my dear readers, uh!) ;)
